T1 Football Coaching

We were very lucky to get some football coaching from Sport Canterbury.
The girls learnt soccer from a female coach and the boys from a male coach.
We learnt to control the ball by playing games like Sponge Bob Square Pants, Zombie tag and Rob the nest.
Then we played a game of four a-side without a goalkeeper.

T1 Writing

·      write a personal recount about something we have done or experienced

Criteria:

·      have an opening statement that tells who what and when

·      write the events in the order they happened

·      have a conclusion or personal response

Constable Ross

Today Constable Ross came to Oaklands School. Constable Ross came to Room 3 then Constable Ross went to Room 4. And Constable Ross is coming to our room on Friday. We are having Constable Ross for two days. He comes two days because he is teaching us to be keeping ourselves safe.

Teacher comment: You have written about Constable Ross coming to our class. To make your story more interesting you need to tell about some of the things he taught you and how you felt about it.

2015 Lotus

We Are Learning To…

Fill in a Lotus sheet so that others can learn a little about ourselves.

We had to draw people so that they were not stick figures and our drawings had to be coloured carefully.

Student voice: I like playing in the shade under the oak trees.
